A work-in-progress prototype for a set of exterior wall hanging tiles.
I started first with a visual brainstorm, working on form and style. The vision was to create a heavy font style built from simple curves and angles for a modern, minimalist visual language.

I moved on to hand-crafting a prototype from clay. Using slabs, I transferred the sketches to the clay before carefully cutting out the following tests.
